Global Network for Road Safety Legislators launch Manifesto #4RoadSafety and urge support from 1k Parliamentarians worldwide

The Global Network for Road Safety Legislators launched the Manifesto #4RoadSafety in London on May 8 as part of the 2017 UN Global Road Safety Week.

One thousand Parliamentarians worldwide are being urged to pledge support for ten priority road safety policy actions to help meet the UN’s target of halving road deaths by 2020.

HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Patron of the Towards Zero Foundation, opened the manifesto launch which featured keynotes and supporting statements from Lord Robertson of Port Ellen, FIA Foundation Chairman, Jim Fitzpatrick, Global Network Council member, Etienne Krug, WHO Director and David Ward, Senior Fellow Towards Zero Foundation.
